Where our family cares for yours

We at Treelands pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere and endeavour to provide a relaxed, hotel-style environment.

Treelands was designed and built by its proprietors and company directors, Tony and Ives Jordan, in 1989. Since its registration in 1992, Tony and Ives have worked hard to develop a well-established and well-respected family-run residential home.

Located just outside Dartmoor National Park, our home is only a quarter of a mile from Pathfinder Village and its amenities.

Within the home, our residents benefit from nutritious home-cooked meals, cosy living spaces, and frequent entertainment, providing a warm and welcoming experience for your loved one.

Our care services

Residential

At both of our care homes, we strive to create a warm, homely environment for our residents. Our team is dedicated to providing personalised care that meets the needs of each of our residents. Whether this involves assistance with personal tasks or meeting medical needs, our staff is available 24/7 to ensure that every resident feels safe and supported. In addition to top-notch care, we offer a variety of daily activities and entertainment options, fostering a sense of community among our residents and staff. From in-home fun to local outings, there's always something to look forward to.

Dementia

We offer specialised care and facilities at both of our homes for those with dementia. Our specialist care team has undergone rigorous training to provide the highest level of care to our residents living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, promoting safety, satisfaction and stimulation at all times. As part of our commitment to dementia care, we provide specialised amenities like a fake bus stop and dementia-friendly artwork, ensuring our residents feel comfortable and at ease no matter where they are.

Respite

In addition to our standard care, we strive to provide respite care where available. At Treelands, respite care is available for both lone residents and couples. Whilst respite care may be temporary, we offer our respite residents the same advantages and quality care as those who are part of our residential care plan.
