Our Team
My parents Ives and Tony Jordan built Treelands in 1990, along with my sister Jordanna this was our family home before we opened as a care home in 1992. This coincided with me leaving school, so I worked as a Care assistant here from age 16 while taking my A levels. I then moved to London to attend the London College of Fashion. In 1997 I moved back home to Exeter and became the Assistant Manager at Treelands. I'm now the Nominated Individual and Finance Director, my husband Patrick is the business support manager, we have three children together.
I have ben involved with Treelands since my teenage years after growing up in the family business. I know every inch of Treelands and you can often find me here. These days I'm operation Director, but you can still occasionally find me working the floor with our team. I have an adult daughter and two granddaughters who visit Treelands frequntly. We are the same family-run business we have always been, just bigger!
We are Ives and Tony Jordan, back in 1989 we built Treelands as our private home and in 1992 we opened as a residential care home for the elderly. Prior to this we had run a residential home in Exeter with Ives’ sister Francesca (who is now one of our kitchen team).
We’ve extended several times over the past 32 years, but at heart we are still the same family run business we were and always hope to be.
I started working in social care when I was 15. Since then, I have worked my way up from a HCA and in most areas of care, including mental health, military and learning disability. I was previously a registered manager and crisis manager. I made a decision a couple of years ago to come out of senior management for more time with my family. Now I'm supporting the team here to give the best experience for your loved ones.
